NicQuid is an Ohio-based e-liquid company founded in 2012, and they focus on quality over quantity. They take time over their flavors, spending months selecting ingredients, refining recipes and conducting tests at their US-based lab, letting each liquid steep before ending it out to customers. Their quality assurance process is also pretty robust.
NicQuid is one of the founding members of the American E-liquid Manufacturing Standards Association (AEMSA), an organization dedicated to establishing safe manufacturing guidelines for e-liquid and ensuring accurate labeling and freedom from contamination. This alone serves as a stamp of approval for the quality of the e-liquids; all of their ingredients are USP grade (with food-grade flavorings) and their nicotine is provided by an industry-leader that conducts testing before shipping each batch out. If you’re looking for a reliable, quality e-liquid supplier, you can’t go wrong with NicQuid.
NicQuid e-liquids are split into four different collections – fruits, tobaccos, desserts and menthols – and are available in five different nicotine levels (0 mg, 6 mg, 12 mg, 18 mg and 24 mg per ml). The PG/VG ratio is always around 60/40, providing a still PG-heavy mix (so you get a good throat-hit) with the extra sweetness, vapor production smoothness and viscosity provided by the VG. You can buy 5 ml ($4.89), 10 ml ($8.19) and 30 ml ($19.99) bottles (prices at time of writing – February 2014).
There are 11 fruit liquids (including Grape Escape, Apple, Peach Lemonade, Blueberry Tart and Strawnanna Smoothie), 4 tobaccos (Midnight Express – which is intended to be a realistic tobacco option– Gen 7, Soho – a nutty, caramel tobacco – and Daybreak), 13 menthols (including Sinthol – a cinnamon and menthol combo – Apple Frost, Mintoid and Southern Freeze – a peach and strawberry menthol) and 7 desserts (including Banana Nut Bread, Chocolate, Cherry on Top and Sinnabun).
NicQuid offers a sampler pack of five flavors ($19.95) if you want to try them out, and you can also pick up their Spinner Kit ($39.95) if you need something to vape them with, which comes with a variable voltage eGo battery, a dual-coil clearomizer and a USB charger. Overall it’s a great bunch of liquids, and although not all will be to everyone’s tastes, there are some truly excellent blends in NicQuid’s collection.
