Best Vape Juice Brands

Best vape juice brands

Although having one or two stand-out flavors is definitely a good thing, considering how good e-juice vendors overall offerings are is very useful when you’re thinking about placing an order. A vendor might not have any of the best individual juices, but they still put out consistent quality, have great customer service and generally earn themselves legions of happy customers.

Arguably, the best e-juice vendors deserve praise even more than any of the other companies we depend on, because ultimately all our hardware is intended to help us enjoy our e-liquid more. It’s literally the fuel for our vaping experience.

So we conducted a poll to find out the best e-juice brands for this year, and we’re compiling the top 18 based on the results here so you can find out the best places to pick up e-liquid according to the vaping community.

We've also curated a list of the best vape juice flavors with specific all-day-vape flavor recommendations that you can pick up.

Finding the best vape juice – how did we curate this list?

We’ve been operating as a review site since 2012 and have tried many, many vape juices from both this and in our everyday lives. In the past, we’ve surveyed vapers on their favorite e-liquid companies and flavors, and we’ve stayed up-to-date with the changing industry too. The challenge with lists like this is that there is no one, individual best vape juice brand. There is always an element of personal preference and consensus among the community.

That said, we wanted to stay as objective as possible. This is why, along with our own choices and those based on our previous surveys, we’ve looked in detail at the best-selling juices from a range of online stores, along with user reviews, scores from other review sites and more. The list isn’t limited to our personal favorites, and although it’s difficult to be completely objective, we’ve aimed to temper our own recommendations with views from the wider community and data, where possible.

While making the top 18 vape juice brands is a big achievement for a company in such a crowded industry, the precise positions are less definitive. So, with that in mind, here are the best e-juice brands that you can pick up!

18 – Mad Hatter Juice

Nicotine salt vape juice brand

Mad Hatter Juice is one of the best e-juice vendors that didn’t make the top list in our poll, but Mitten Vapors folded and they’re a solid company with a range of truly delicious juices. They’re best known for their dessert blends, “I Love Cookies” and “I Love Donuts,” but they’ve since branched out and now offer Strawberry Pop and Cereal Pop, along with a salt nic juice range (“I Love Salts”) and a Milkman tribute juice in the form of Mango Milk. It’s hard to pick a favorite from the line-up because they’re all great, but “I Love Cookies Too” (the update to the more famous original juice) is exceptional and arguably even better than the original.

The standard juices come in 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml, and the “I Love Salts” juices are either 25 or 50 mg/ml. You can pick up 60 ml of their standard juices for $22, or a 30 ml salt bottle for $19.95.

17 – VaporFi

VaporFi nicotine e-liquid

VaporFi has been a big name in the vaping industry for several years now, with tons of excellent devices, tanks and e-liquids on offer. While originally their vape juice was mainly the sort of simple blends you pick up when you just start to fill a vape pen, they quickly moved towards more complex and carefully-crafted flavors and became one of the top e-liquid brands in the industry. The current line-up consists of 12 different flavors in both nicotine salt and ordinary vape juice formulations. Some of the available flavors are Dragon Banana Berry, Strawberry Watermelon, Pure Grape, Ripe Apple, Berry Mango Ice and many others.

The standard line of juices all come in either 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine, with a 70% VG mix that works perfectly in sub ohm tanks and most other non-pod atomizers. For the standard line, 60 ml of the vape juice costs $16.95. For the nicotine salt formulations, you get 30 ml bottles with either 18, 36 or 48 mg/ml of nicotine and a 50/50 PG/VG ratio, and it costs $17.95. You can pick them up directly from VaporFi.

16 – Kilo E-Liquid

Vaping Kilo e-liquid

Kilo E-Liquid is a pretty big name in the industry and they’ve put out some of the best tasting e-juice you can find over their time in business. The juices are grouped into several different series, including the Original Series, Sour Series, Fruit Series, Moo Series, White Series, Black Series and the Candy Series. This gives you a good idea of the range of flavors on offer from the mixer, including the honeydew melon, berry and cream Dewberry Cream, Blue Raspberry Sours, Strawberry Milk, Cinnamon Roll, Green Apple O’s and many more.

The line-up being so varied means most vapers will be able to find a flavor that works for them, and the quality is exceptional throughout the whole selection. The main e-juices come in 60 ml or 100 ml bottles, with either 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. This makes the liquids better for high-power devices and less ideal for just-switching smokers, but they do have a range of salt e-liquids coming out soon.

The prices vary a little based on the bottle size, with the 60 ml options costing $17.99 and the 100 ml ones $19.99.

15 – Jimmy the Juice Man

Jimmy The Juice Man vape juice

Coming in at 15th place is Jimmy the Juice Man, a Chicago-based vendor with a small selection of 7 vape juices that are all widely-loved by vapers. These include Caramel Pear, Crème Brulee, Shurb (raspberry, lime and orange – a vape-able rainbow sherbet) and Strawberry Astronaut (strawberry and apricot).

Shurb is undoubtedly Jimmy’s most popular flavor, earning a spot on our best e-juice flavors list in its own right, but all of the juices are rated highly. They all come in a 60% VG, and a choice of 6 nicotine levels from 0 to 24 mg/ml (the 3 mg nicotine option is a max-VG blend, though). They’re currently priced at $18 for a 30 ml bottle, or $65 for a 120 ml bottle.

14 – Orgnx E-Liquid

E-liquid bottles from Orgnx brand

Orgnx is a California-based juice company that has earned tons of fans during their short time in business, with both nicotine salt e-juice and standard varieties available. They’re regarded as one of the best e-liquid vendors because of their realistic and well-captured fruit flavors, which you can pick up either as a straightforward fruit flavor or an “ice” version also incorporating menthol. Their flavors include Banana, Peach, Watermelon, Honeydew, Apple, Lychee, Mango, Guava and Pineapple, all also available in “ice” form.

The standard versions of the e-juices come in 60 ml unicorn bottles and have the standard 70/30 VG/PG mix. In line with the needs of sub ohm tank users, these are available in either 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. For the nicotine salt versions of the liquids, the bottles are 30 ml, and have a 50/50 VG/PG mix so they work well in pod system devices. You can pick these up in either 35 or 50 mg/ml of nicotine. The standard and nicotine salt juice both cost $14.99 per bottle

13 – Glas Basix

Dessert fruity vape juice flavor

Glas has been around for a while, but they were mainly known for producing some high-end mechanical mods. However, they’ve been expanding their offerings for some time now, and the Glas Basix line of liquids has become some of the most popular e-juice on the market. The “Basix” in the name doesn’t really do it justice, though, because the flavors are well-crafted, with the same level of care clearly going into them as into their mods. There are a total of 11 flavors available (depending on which vendor you use), including Butterscotch Reserve (an RY4-style tobacco with caramel and butterscotch), Strawberry Gummy, Mango Tango and Caribbean Punch (pineapple, strawberry, apples and apricot).

The juices from Glas come in 60 ml bottles, with a 70% VG mix that works perfectly in sub ohm tanks and pretty much any modern atomizer except simple pods. You get the option of 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine, and if you visit the official site you can also find nicotine salt formulations of the same flavors, with either 30 or 50 mg/ml of nicotine. However, at DirectVapor you can pick up the standard line-up for $13.95.

12 – Pinup Vapors E-Juice

Pinup Vapors e-liquid brand

Pinup Vapors is a juice company based in St. Louis that pays homage to 50s pinup girls with the name of the brand and the individual vape juices. They have a range of five fruit and dessert juices, including the sweet fruity mixture Betty, the sweet, tart and fruity Lana and the vanilla custard, butterscotch and caramel Marilyn. All five Pinup Vapors juices are well-liked by vapers, but Betty is arguably the most popular.

Pinup Vapors’ juices are all VG-heavy, with a PG/VG ratio of 25/75 for Marilyn and Betty, 80% VG for Victoria, 85% for Sophia and 95% VG Lana. The blends are all low nicotine, with 0, 3 and 6 mg/ml being the only options, and a 30 ml bottle will run you $22.

11 – Humble Juice Co.

Nicotine Vape juice from Humble Juice Co.

Humble Juice Co. has rapidly risen to popularity thanks to a diverse selection of flavors and a range of different formulations on offer, including standard and nicotine salts, but also with synthetic nicotine options. Most of their flavors have some element of fruit in them (although not all – Vanilla Butterscotch comes to mind), and they’re highly-praised for their often-sweet but always delicious replications. Three of the most popular flavors are Donkey Kahn (strawberry, banana and dragonfruit), Vape the Rainbow/VTR (rainbow sorbet and candy, basically Skittles) and Sweater Puppets (honeydew, cantaloupe and mango).

The standard versions of the juices come in huge 120 ml bottles, which make them quite an investment in a way, but the prices are good. The standard versions come in an 80/20 VG/PG mix, with either 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. The nicotine salt formulations come in the regular 30 ml sized bottles, with either 35 or 48 mg/ml of nicotine and a 50/50 VG/PG mix. You can pick up the salt versions for $15.95 or the regular ones for $17.99, with prices varying slightly through different vendors.

10 – Suicide Bunny E-Juice

Vape juice flavor by Suicide Bunner

Suicide Bunny needs little introduction, with the Texas-based mixer having a loyal following and Mother’s Milk being among many vapers’ favorite e-liquids. Taking the 10th spot in our best e-juice brands round-up, Suicide Bunny offers five regular e-liquids, with the “Obsidian Edition” of Mother’s Milk being an aged edition of the original.

Derailed is a snickerdoodle cookie, cinnamon and banana juice, the O.B. has a secret recipe but it’s a rich creamy e-liquid with many saying it tastes like a sweet cake, Sucker Punch is a fruit and cream blend, and Mother’s Milk is the classic strawberries-and-cream concoction, which many class as the best vape juice money can buy.

Suicide Bunny e-liquids cost $19.99 per 60 ml, with between 0 and 18 mg/ml of nicotine (depending on where you pick them up) and a PG/VG ratio that’s unstated, but is usually given as 70% VG.

9 – Naked 100 E-Juice

Naked 100 Vape Juice - Best Tasting E-Juice We Recommend

Naked 100 got its start in 2016, based in Southern California and with an impressive and varied line-up with a focus on fruits and tobaccos. They have both a classic line-up of standard e-juices and a specific salt e-juice line containing higher-nicotine versions of the same great flavors. They’ve made this top e-juice list largely thanks to their clean and realistic fruit replications, which are some of the best in the industry and combined with their unique combinations, make for some great juices.

The line-up includes the excellent Lava Flow (strawberry, pineapple and coconut), the cocktail-inspired Hawaiian Pog (passion fruit, orange and guava) and the self-explanatory Amazing Mango. Some of these are also available in a menthol-containing alternative version, and they also offer a couple of tobacco options (Cuban Blend and American Patriots) for those who want a realistic tobacco vape.

You can pick up the standard juices for $22.99 per 60 ml, and we have a full review of the line-up if you want to learn more.

8 – Sicboy

Sicboy vape juice brand

Sicboy is a Colorado-based mixer offering a range of five e-liquids inspired by the creators’ favorite foods, and as well as earning a spot on the top e-juice companies, they also scored two spots on our best e-liquid flavors top 10 for M.B.Y.C. and Deviant. Their aim is to make every flavor they have on offer an all-day-vape, and based on the feedback they’ve received they’ve done a pretty good job of it.

The flavors most often called the best ejuice from Sicboy are the aforementioned M.B.Y.C. (a praline, vanilla ice cream and custard blend) and Deviant (cherry strudel with vanilla ice cream), along with Sicker Than Most (strawberry, blueberry, tangerine and cream) and Catatonic (a blueberry cheesecake with a cinnamon crumble base). The eliquids come in 65% VG and four nicotine levels, from nicotine-free up to 12 mg/ml. A 30 ml bottle of Sicboy e-liquid will cost you $19.99.

7 – Sadboy

Man vaping Sadboy e-liquid with vape mod

Sadboy might have a bit of a strangely negative name, but their e-juice has been making waves in the industry for some time now thanks to their impressive and affordable line-up. They split their flavors into lines, with the Cookie Line, Jam Line, Fruit Line, Happy End Line and the Nola Line, as well as many flavors available in nicotine salt formulations too. Their most popular flavors tend to come from the Cookie Line, such as Shamrock Cookie (a mix of minty cream milkshake and cookie), but others like Strawberry Jam also have some strong supporters.

The ordinary juices come in either 60 or 100 ml bottles, with a 70/30 VG/PG mix and unicorn bottles for both sizes. Since they’re intended for sub ohm vaping, they’re only available in 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine. If you’re looking for something to use with a pod system, they have many higher-strength options in 30 ml unicorn bottles with a pod-friendly 50/50 mix of VG and PG. These come in either 28 or 48 mg/ml of nicotine. The 100 ml bottles cost $14.99 and the 30 ml salts cost $12.99, which is a great deal either way.

6 – Pachamama

Fruity vape juice flavor

Pachamama is one of the most well-known vape juice brands around today, a premium-style mixer with a focus on fruit flavors in often-unique combinations. The fruit flavors are always surprisingly authentic, relying on the natural sweetness of the fruit rather than adding sweeteners or other flavorings. Fuji Apple Strawberry Nectarine is their most popular flavor, but there are many other great options in the line-up, including Strawberry Guava Jackfruit, Peach Papaya Coconut and Honeydew Berry Kiwi. If you’re looking for an unconventional tobacco juice, Apple Tobacco is definitely worth trying out.

The juices are available both in standard (0, 3 or 6 mg/ml) and nicotine salt (25 or 50 mg/ml) formulations, with 60 ml standard bottles (70% VG mix) and 30 ml salt bottles (50% VG). You can pick up either type for around $14 a bottle, although as one of the best vape juice brands, they’re available from a lot of vendors, so prices (and flavor availability) can vary.

5 – Beantown Vapor E-Juice

Beantown E-Liquids - Best E-Cig Juice for New Vapers

Beantown Vapor is a Boston-based mixer, who’s been in the industry since 2010 but started focusing solely on putting out excellent vape juices a couple of years ago. They’ve earned 5th place on our top vapor e-liquid poll for their small-batch mixes and their range of 12 dessert-based, fruity and sweet juices.

Among their offerings are Banana De Leche (caramel and banana), Oh-Face (strawberries and cream – this juice came second in our best e-juice flavors poll), Snozzberry (which tastes like Snozzberry, obviously – a melon and blue raspberry blend), Flesh and Bone (blueberry, peach and pastry) and Soul Custardy (a vanilla custard blend that took third place in the poll). The juices come in a PG/VG ratio of 33/67, with five nicotine levels available (ranging from 0 to 18 mg/ml, with a 3 mg/ml option). The bottles cost $17.99 for 30 ml and $60 for 120 ml.

4 – Beard Vape Co.

Nicotine salts vape juice

Beard Vape Co has a great story, starting out as the project of two brothers working in the back of a vape shop in Venice, California in 2014, but becoming one of the most famous and widely-loved e-liquid brands around the world in what seemed like the blink of an eye. The vaping industry always moves quickly but their rise was something else entirely, originally with each of their juices only being identified by a number.

Many of the juices in the lineup still use the number system, with #32 being a cinnamon funnel cake blend, and #71 being a sweet and sour peach flavor. Since they got started, though, they also offer some nicotine salt e-juices (ideal for pod vapes) and some unique (non-numbered) flavors, like Green (honeydew melon and custard) and the One lineup, which contains many custard and dessert flavors.

You can pick up the standard juices for $22.99 per 60 ml, the One lineup for $24.99 per 100 ml, the salts for $17.99 per 30 ml (with 30 or 50 mg/ml nicotine) and the colors line for $12.99 per 60 ml.

3 – Black Note E-Liquid

Black Note - Best Tobacco Vape Juice

Black Note takes the third spot on our best vape juice brands list, having gained glowing reviews and praise from across the vaping community for their realistic, three-dimensional and deliciously complex tobacco blends.

Black Note makes naturally extracted tobacco (NET) vape juice, which uses real tobacco leaves for flavoring. The leaves are steeped for six to eight weeks in PG and VG to give all of the flavor notes chance to infuse into the blend. This makes their line-up of six juices unbeatably authentic in taste, with all the depth and complexity of real tobacco coming through with every puff.

Each flavor is a different variety of tobacco, with the Virginia tobacco Prelude, the Burley blend Forte, the sweetened, Cavendish offering Sonata, the robust Kentucky variety Legato, the Virginia and menthol combination Solo, and the Syrian Latakia blend Quartet. Vapers’ favorite flavors vary, but Prelude is particularly smooth and slightly sweet, while still offering a robust tobacco flavor, and Sonata is an outright masterpiece. For smokers looking for the most realistic tobacco flavor, Quartet is arguably the best of the bunch, but it’s a bit more expensive than the others at $39 per 30 ml bottle.

The flavors all come in a 50/50 PG/VG ratio, and in five nicotine levels from 0 to 18 mg/ml, including a dripping-friendly 3 mg/ml option. The juices aren’t the cheapest on this list – with most at $29 per 30 ml bottle – but sometimes you have to pay a bit more for quality. And there’s no doubt you’re getting quality from Black Note.

2 – Dinner Lady

Fruity dessert vape juice flavor

Dinner Lady is a British vape juice brand that has really picked up steam in recent years, thanks to their solid line-up of well-executed and delicious e-juices. The flavors tend to blend fruit and dessert, with options like Strawberry Macaroon and Blackberry Crumble in the line-up, alongside pure fruit options like Purple Rain (raspberry, blueberry and lemon) and Berry Blast (raspberries with cherry juice) and others. Their most well-known flavor is Lemon Tart, which offers exactly what you’d expect based on the name but gets the balance between the sharper, lemony elements and the sweetness from the tart just right.

The juices are available as both standard e-juices (70% VG mix, 0, 3 or 6 mg/ml of nicotine) for $13.99 per 60 ml, and as nicotine salt formulations (50% VG, 30 or 50 mg/ml of nicotine) at $13.99 for a 30 ml bottle. You can pick up the premium vape juice from various vendors, including Element Vape and DirectVapor, but availability can vary.

1 – Boosted E-Juice

Boosted E-liquid Flavors - Best Ejuice Vendor

Another huge step up in terms of votes puts Boosted E-Juice in top spot in our poll, with the Colorado-based mixer having rapidly gained a following since getting started in late 2013 to early 2014.

Boosted has six premium e-juice flavors on offer: Intercooler (a cranberry, apple and cream blend), the seasonally-available Rear Diff (a pumpkin spice latte inspired blend), B.O.V. (peach, citrus, coconut and tropical fruits), Anti-Lag (strawberry, blueberry, watermelon and cream), Wastegate (raspberry cheesecake with vanilla ice cream) and the legendary Boosted (a creamy strawberry milkshake right out of a 50s-style diner). Boosted convincingly took the top spot in our best flavors poll, too.

The juices from Boosted come in 60% VG, with the standard range of nicotine levels between 0 and 18 mg/ml (including 3 mg/ml). A 30 ml bottle will run you $19.99.

Best E-Liquid Brands (Editor's Picks)

The 18 vendors above represent the best in the industry according to our independent research and poll of vapers, but it goes without saying that not everyone will agree on the vendors featured. So if you’re looking for some extra recommendations, we’ve put together a mini list of the best vape juice companies as chosen by the staff here at EcigaretteReviewed.

Pachamama

Pachamama is a fruit-focused brand from the people at Charlie’s Chalk Dust, and both the standard and nicotine salt line-up offer unique and delicious flavors that go way beyond the usual fare from mixers. With options like Blood Orange Banana Gooseberry, Apple Tobacco, Starfruit Grape, Peach Papaya Coconut and the apple, nectarine and strawberry blend Fuji, the brand has some exceptional juices on offer. The salt blends cost $13.99 for 30 ml and the ordinary ones are $14.95 for 60 ml, and if you like fruits you’ll definitely find something you like in the line-up.

Cosmic Fog

Cosmic Fog is a very popular e-liquid brand with vapers, only slightly missing out on making the top 20 list based on our poll, but we’d definitely rank them among our favorites. Milk and Honey in particular is a fantastic marshmallow-based juice and a definite all-day-vape for us, but they also offer other unique flavors like the strawberry and ground almond butter Nutz. A 30 ml bottle of Cosmic Fog juice costs $21.95. You can buy Cosmic Fog here.

Mt. Baker Vapor

Mt. Baker Vapor made the top 20 list based on our poll, but we’d be remiss if we didn’t give them another mention here: they offer several juices that really knock it out of the park. They have a huge selection of juices on offer, so you'll undoubtedly be able to find several options well-suited to your tastes. Many vapers love Hawk Sauce, but for us Moo Juice is the undisputed king. Mt. Baker Vapor has great prices, too, just $7.49 for 30 ml. You can buy Mt Baker Vapor here.

Jam Monster

Jam Monster is a pretty specialized mixer, with a small line-up consisting of jam-inspired e-liquids in huge 100 ml bottles, with some undertones of toast and butter to round it out. The line-up includes Blueberry, Apple and Grape, but (if you ask us) the best is the original Strawberry blend, which manages to perfectly capture the taste of jam and goes down super-easily. They cost $29.99 for 100 ml. You can buy Jam Monster here.

VaporFi

VaporFi did pretty well in our best e-juice brands poll, but we’d specifically class the Reserve Collection as among our favorite juices. The collection features premium flavors, offering more complex and well-crafted blends such as the banana and custard Monkey Business and the melon berry and guava Northern Lights. The juices cost $19.99 for 30 ml. The Grand Reserve collection, which offers six even higher-end blends, is also available for pre-order. Read our full VaporFi e-liquid review for more information. You can buy VaporFi here.

Five Pawns

Five Pawns is one of those mixers that every vaper knows, offering a consistently-delicious range of juices. They were close to making this list, but didn’t quite make the cut – although, like Black Note, they had a surge of votes not long after we’d officially counted up. We love most of their juices, but Castle Long and Grandmaster are particular favorites. A 30 ml bottle costs $27.50. Read our full Five Pawns review for more information. Buy Five Pawns here.

How to find the best vape juice brands

Vape mod next to vape juice bottle

Finding the best vape juice brands isn’t an exact science, and ultimately there will probably be some trial and error involved in your process. The best first step is to check out a best vape juice list such as this one, as well as reading vape juice reviews (both professional and user reviews) to narrow down the options a little.

There are some specific things you should look out for, though:

Variety of flavors

Although some premium brands have a clear focus for their juices, if you want to find the best e-liquid brand, ideally there will be plenty of variety in the line-up. For example, Pachamama focuses on fruit, but has lots of different combinations and even a tobacco option too.

Multi-component flavors

One of the hallmarks of better mixers is that the flavors are rarely (if ever) one-note. You don’t just get banana, say, you get bananas with honey and vanilla ice cream. It’s a sign of thought and care put into flavor creation.

Consistency

Some vape juice brands are pretty much only famous for one flavor, while the best vape juice companies will have a fairly consistent high rating for their liquids.

Nicotine options

The best companies have some ordinary lower-strength liquids (in 0 to 6 mg/ml of nicotine) and also nicotine salt formulations (generally 20 to 50 mg/ml) for vapers using mods or pod systems, respectively. You can choose one based on what you vape, though.

Price

While prices can vary, these days there isn’t much reason to pay tons for some e-liquid. The best companies definitely won’t be the very cheapest, but they don’t have to be the most expensive either.

Reliability

Companies should have lab reports available on their vape juice. You don’t have to pore over the results in detail, but the company should be able to prove their liquids are free from diacetyl, for example.

(Types of) Types of E-Juice

If you want to choose the best e-liquid for your own needs, you’ll need an understanding of the different ways you can categorize the types of e-liquid available. There are lots of ways you can break vape juice down into types, but here are some overviews of the most important ones:

By Flavor

  • Fruit: Fruit flavors are the most widely-used type, simple, recognizable and tasty.
  • Dessert: These are options like cakes, pastries and generally all things sweet. You may consider chocolate and cream/custard as separate groups, but they could be included here too.
  • Tobacco: Tobacco replication e-juices, usually considered to include things like RY4 which include tobacco but other components too.
  • Menthol: Both classic cigarette-style menthol and things like peppermint or pure mint are generally included here.
  • Candy: This is specifically candies, usually based on classic real candies.
  • Beverages: Coffee is the most common beverage flavor e-juice, but tea and even cocktails are also possible.

By Type of Nicotine

  • Ordinary nicotine:  Most e-liquids use lower amounts of ordinary nicotine, basically using the molecule in its absorbable form. These are usually in less than 12 mg/ml of nicotine, with higher VG levels.
  • Nicotine salts: These bottles are generally smaller and contain much higher concentrations of nicotine, over 18 mg/ml and up to 50 mg/ml. They use nicotine in salt form, as it is in the tobacco plant. These usually have more PG.

By VG Level

  • High VG: Juices with higher VG (70% or more) are intended for devices like sub ohm tanks, rebuildables and higher-power pods.
  • Low VG: Juices with lower VG (50% or lower) are usually intended for pod systems, ranging from the simplest right up to the most complex. Low VG juices are also better in basic vape pens and other simpler atomizers.

By Price

  • Cheap: Cheap e-liquids aren’t necessarily bad, but expect more boring combinations and less vibrant flavors.
  • Premium: Premium vape juice tends to be available in fewer flavors per brand, but has much higher quality and is often built around one core type of flavor. These are more expensive but much more exciting in terms of flavor combinations and strength.

By Bottle Size

  • Small bottles: Small bottles of juice are generally 10 ml and they offer a little taste of the flavor without giving you enough to vape for many days.
  • Medium bottles: 60 ml bottles are the most common type these days, enough for weeks of vaping depending on how much you use each day.
  • Large bottles: Bottles of 100 ml and over are for a good supply of a single e-juice. They aren’t too common, but many companies do offer them.
  • Short-fill bottles: “Short-fill” e-liquids are available in Europe, because they allow companies to sell 60 ml bottles without breaking EU law. They’re filled to 50 ml and you top up with 10 ml “nicotine shots” to your desired strength.

Conclusion

These companies represent some of the best vape juice brands in the industry, but as we stressed earlier: our main list has a lot going for it, but it’s not the definitive “best of” for e-liquid companies, and it’s important to consider what you’re personally looking for in a vendor before you make a purchase. We’ll be adding to this post in the coming weeks with some tips for choosing a vendor, so check back soon!

And finally, we want to say a big thank you to everyone who voted on our poll, and, most importantly, to thank all the vendors on this list (and those not on the list) for everything you do to make every day of vaping a pleasure for us all.
