This happens particularly when I’m around smokers. It helps to have a good substitute on hand for those times.

I’ve searched high and low for a good substitute and have yet to find one. I’ve got a mediocre one… but not quite there. The ones I’ve tried all seem to nail the tobacco taste… but not the smokiness. It’s not like there aren’t smoke flavorings they could use to heighten the effect. I’ve been playing around mixing my own and come closer to it than any of the commercial offerings I’ve tried, but still not quite there yet.

Anyone have a juice that hits the nail on the head? I’m open to suggestions!

I really enjoyed your well thought out article. I use a brand called “Tobacco Row” sold by avail. Its the closest thing I have tried to real tobacco taste, however, as you suggest, I don’t even like the taste of a real cigarette now.

Cigars, Virginia, etc… None ever tasted like Tobacco. More just a sweet type of flavour. I think they just make up the names and label the juice. Best to go with other flavours.
